Jim Phillips is one of America's foremost authorities in family preparedness, personal disaster response, and winter industrial safety training. He has developed a series of classes and courses designed to help you and your family or your company meet the challenges of an uncertain future.
For more than fifty years, Jim has been extensively engaged in outdoor living, winter camping, and arctic living. With a broad technical background he has developed unique principles, methods, and equipment which have been tested and proven over the years. Paramount is Jim's understanding of how and why things work.
In 1987 Jim personally trained James Lovell and two friends for a personal trip to the geographic North Pole on the froze polar ocean.
Jim has spent thousands of hours teaching others to enjoy the wilderness year-round. For over thirty-five years he has been professionally involved in emergency preparedness and disaster response training. He has worked with many different clients:
