For making Inner Thermal Liners™ (ITLs™) and related ½” components. One sheet makes one set (shirt, pants) for the average medium-sized adult. Depending on the size of the adult, there may be foam leftover for mittens, hats, and bootie. Please note that ½” ITLs™, or TJs™ are not PALS™ clothing and will not take the place of the PALS™ clothing in the extremes. CAUTION, please read the entire description before ordering. 1” foam is used for several items in the PALS™ system that you learn about in the Winter Without Worries class. The 1” foam that we currently have is too firm to use for the 1” PALS™ clothing. We are searching for a softer foam to use for the clothing that has all the other desired characteristics. This particular medium-firm 1” foam works best for the following items: 1) The thermal-liner for the PALS™ Mukluk, 2) The MHP™ (Moisture Handling Pad™) which is a critical part of the PALS™ Sleeping System. 4) It also makes a terrific stand-alone three-season sleeping bag, particularly in wet conditions.
